Volunteering is your chance to make a real difference in people's lives and in the world and if you want to get involved, Crossing Borders may be just the place for you!

At Crossing Borders you have the opportunity to get involved with a wide variety of projects and tasks depending on your interests, ideas and available time. In the following you can read about some of the possibilities, and if you have an idea which is not mentioned, please don't hesitate to contact us! The sky's the limit - and we are always open to new ideas.

For all of our volunteers we offer different courses and skill-building workshops - so you can develop your skills and knowledge to the benefit of Crossing Borders and your future career.

The Crossing Borders' office is located in Humlebaek, where we have a cozy and dynamic work environment. There is room for group work, meetings and individual work, and a small group of committed collegues.

Volunteer opportunities

Project Assistant

If you are interested in youth related projects and if you want to gain experience in the field you can become a volunteer on one of our many ongoing projects as a project assistant. Here you will get valuable experience working with all project phases. You will work with idea generation, fundrasing, proposal writing, project planning, coordination and execution, plus evaluation. You will participate in the different activities and workshops related to your project both in Denmark and abroad.

Communication & administrative assistant

If you have a little communicater inside of you that is itching to get out, you can explore your ideas and build your skills at Crossing Borders as a communication assistant. You will work on developing our website, writing our newsletter, developing campaign and project materials and much much more. If you have untapped organizational skills they would also be valuable in the Crossing Borders' office where you can help out with different administrative tasks related to our ongoing projects and the organization itself. There are many interesting tasks and always a need for an extra hand and new ideas.

Develop new projects

If you have a great idea for a new project that you would love to see come to life - Crossing Borders can be the platform from which to develop your project. We can serve as the organizational frame and help you develop your ideas. You can use the office and other facilities and we can help you with contacts, logistics, etc.
