Crossing Borders started out as a project in 1999, and in 2004 we were registered as an NGO. The same year Crossing Borders got official partner with UNESCO. In 2013 Mariano Davis got part of the advisory board, in 2016 Jacob Holdt joined the advisory board too. In 2017 we moved to the center of Copenhagen, and the same year Zindzi Mandela became the patron and ambassador of Crossing Borders.
