The project “Think Globally, Act Locally. Climate Youth Ambassadors for a Greener Future ” developed by crossing borders, aims to empower youth from four CB partner countries: Denmark, Italy, Lebanon, and Jordan to become youth climate ambassadors advocating for green solutions to their local, regional and global problems.

In June, 20 youth climate gathered in Helisingør for the first time to take part in the first training course. The course built around four modules: climate knowledge, innovation, action, and campaign. The course provided a space for the youth to share climate challenges and develop advocacy strategies toward decision-makers in their countries as well as share best practices.

Participants were provided with practical knowledge and innovative methods to become capable of advocating their environmental concerns towards decision-makers. Thematic workshops, field trips, group work and discussion rounds with decision makers were the main methods used throughout the project.
