OBJECTIVES
Main objective of this project is to share stories about the experiences of migration of youth in the Nordic region through digital storytelling, foster cultural learning and bridge differences. We aim to support young people in using digital storytelling to tell and exchange stories about their own personal experiences of migration because digital storytelling is a way of exchanging experiences and strengthening one’s own voice. Young leaders will tell and exchange stories about their own diverse experiences of migration, thus illuminating how youth in the Nordic region are interconnected in their movements.
OUTCOME
We hope this training will be an opportunity where the youth can share critical and authentic reflections, and be recognized as valuable voices in the larger conversation. Our aim is to make the youth’s perspectives and experiences more visible, to offer a space to celebrate cultural heritage, and to foster a network of connection for young people across Nordic regions. Outcome will be 2-3 minutes digital stories produced by each young participant that will be shared on an online platform and sharing final reflections with young participants.
