OBJECTIVES

The project is focused on adult education and lifelong learning excluding discrimination barriers and obstacles through educational and training provision. Knowledge, skills, and capacity to build a business or continue with it in foreign countries are the main goals of the project. The mentoring parameters provided a guide to enhance and empower immigrants and refugees around Europe, through creating competencies about self-assessment, self-awareness as well as innovative, learning based of individual’s need, background and target. Also, dissemination of the results is priority in order to reach as many adult migrants throughout EU as possible. In addition, design sustainable and user- friendly tools for the generations to come, based on ecological health, social equity, and economic welfare.

OUTCOME

The project is still in its middle-phase moment. At this point all the partners provided insights from studies focus in their own country. The final report provides the needs and competencies requires by migrant groups in the EU. These studies highlighted opportunities and challenges faced by migrants and refugees at the moment to become entrepreneurs or continuing with their businesses (no more than 3 years old). In addition, certified training and career kit are provided online as a virtual resource made for people’s consultation. The dissemination through mass-media tools is still in process.
