Umeda Buzurukova – I was born in the Soviet Union but grew up in the Russian Federation and Sweden, where I currently reside. I have always concerned myself with the challenges of the modern world such as environmental and social issues.
Crossing Borders is one of the places where youth can come together in order to become inspired and learn from each other. After attending the Global Studies at Krogerup, it encouraged me to deepen my knowledge of the world, to use my voice to stand up for what I believe in and strive for more.
My vision for CB is to become an ever-growing platform for young people where they can keep on growing as individuals, enjoying their youthful days, understanding the issues of today and learning how much power and influence they can have in the world.
