Clara Schülldorf – I grew up in the north of Germany and am currently living in Bavaria, southern Germany. Almost 3 years ago, I spent 7 weeks at Krogerup Højskole and participated in the Global Studies course held by Crossing Borders. The idea of coming together as global citizens discussing problems that youth are facing worldwide is an important step for a wider understanding for each other. Crossing Borders encourage young people to do so. It creates a worldwide network and gets people connected to share their ideas and voices.
The sun rose and we woke up this morning. We have enough language in our mouth to be understood. Why don’t we just start there? Start to listen to each other and try to improve each other’s day by being open-minded and honest. Starting the dialogue is the first step of creating long-term solutions together and I am happy that CB enables me to take part.
