Oda-Kange is a researcher, teacher, and black feminist, who has grown up in a multilingual and multicultural environment. In October 2023 she obtained her PhD in Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies from NTNU University in Trondheim, Norway. Born in 1983, Andrii Kuzmyn has a background in Finance and International Business (MSc). With a rich professional history at IKEA (Swedwood), Siemens, and WSA, he has been a pivotal figure in Bevar Ukraine since 2014. Formerly chairman of Bevar Ukraine and the Association of Ukrainians in Denmark, Andrii currently serves as the General Manager at Bevar Ukraine. Mogens Lykketoft currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at ENERGINET, the Danish state operator responsible for electricity and gas transmission. He held the prestigious position of the President of the 70th General Assembly of the United Nations from 2015 to 2016. Prior to his UN role, Lykketoft was a distinguished Speaker of the Parliament from 2011 to 2015 and also served as the Minister for Finance and Foreign Affairs in Denmark. Meet Omar Al Sayed, an angry and frustrated Palestinian artist who will talk and listen about Palestine in our first-ever Food For Thought event in Aarhus! Omar was born and raised in a refugee camp for Palestinians in Lebanon. As the founder of Artvocacy, a social enterprise that works at the intersection of arts and humanities, Omar is trying to tackle important global issues, and injustices by using artistic means to connect people and drive positive change. In this Food for Thought, Omar will share his personal story, connect it to the bigger picture of Palestine today, and open the floor for a conversation with the audience to share their thoughts and answer any questions.

Tahmina Salik is a dedicated advocate for positive social change and empowerment. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, she has a deeply rooted commitment to humanitarian causes and gender equality. With a master's degree in International Relations from the University of Southern Denmark, Tahmina brings both academic expertise and real-world experience to her work. Her personal journey as a refugee to Denmark has shaped her passion for supporting vulnerable communities and individuals. Tahmina advocates for women's rights and supports protest movements in Afghanistan and Iran. She actively champions gender equality and is known for her advocacy and commitment to uplifting women's voices and opportunities. Mira C. Skadegård is an Associate Professor at Aalborg University in Copenhagen, Denmark. Issues of equality, diversity, structural discrimination, and human rights are at the core of her focus, and her work revolves around justice, local politics, human rights, and inequality. In her capacity as Senior Advisor in social sustainability, Mira also works with analysis, policy development, and consultation in areas such as anti-discrimination, equality, diversity, and equal opportunities (DEI) in the context of media, organizations, and broader policy frameworks. Jesper Højberg is the Executive Director of International Media Support (IMS), a Denmark-based civil society organization dedicated to supporting media in conflict zones and areas of political transition. He founded IMS in 2001, in the wake of the Rwanda genocide, and has since worked globally to strengthen journalism and protect media workers in challenging environments. With over 30 years of experience in journalism, social research, and media development, Jesper's career includes roles as director of a UNESCO Film School in Zimbabwe and coordinator for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Civil Society Development programme in South Eastern Europe. Jesper’s commitment to free and responsible media has never wavered, even in the face of increasing threats against journalists from Gaza to Myanmar, Sudan, and beyond.
