Shimon Malka – My motivation to be Crossing Borders National Coordinator in Israel stems from the fact that I was part of starting the organization in 1991 and worked as the Israeli coordinator until 2004. Together with our Palestinian partners in Crossing Borders, we launched the All for Peace Radio in Jerusalem. Since then, I have been working with a number of initiatives aiming at finding a peaceful solution to the Israeli – Palestinian conflict. Therefore, it a natural that I return supporting Crossing Borders as a contribution to not only in the Middle East but also across the globe.
In terms of my vision for Crossing Borders in Israel, I envision the organization to continue creating a space for dialogue, collaboration and mutual exploration toward peaceful coexistence in the region.
